At Whistle Barns, the stunning Lakeside Dining Room offers an unmatched ambiance for your Wedding Breakfast and celebrations. This special part of the day is your first meal as a married couple, shared with your nearest and dearest.
As your wedding day draws near and you finalise your guest list, it's then time to start arranging your seating plan.
Round Table Seating Plan
Round table seating plans are a popular choice at weddings as it generally gives you more comfort and flexibility. This seating plan will also allow you to best take advantage of the space that this beautiful room offers.
Guests can comfortably socalise with all other guests around the table, and can easily pass around sharing plates and condiments. It is a socialable seating plan and helps to lift the atmosphere in the room.
The Round Table Setup is included in the Venue Hire Price. We will provide as many round tables and chairs needed for your guest numbers. You also have a choice of a round or long Top Table.
Our incredible team will ensure that all furniture is set out in the barns prior to your arrival, as specified in your seating plan.
Sociable and Relaxed Dining
The round dining tables have space to seat up to ten people per table, while still leaving ample room for your decorative items and grand centerpieces.
This seating plan also offers full flexibility with menu choices. It works really well for sharing platters and the popular Host-a-Roast.

Caterpillar Layout
If you're opting for a romantic, intimate wedding of no more than 32 daytime guests, The Caterpillar Seating Plan works wonderfully for your Wedding Breakfast Meal.
We lay our round tables out in one long row down the center of the room.
You can seat a maximum of 6 people on each of the end tables and 5 people on each of the other tables.
You could place yourselves in the centre of this setup or at the 'head of the table' to have full view of everyone.
Long Table Layout
Long dining tables in a traditional banqueting style have grown in popularity and Whistle Barns is pleased to be able to offer you this option for your seating plan.
Think dinner in the Great Hall at Hogwarts and you get the idea! These are long dining tables running the length of The Lakeside Dining Room with guests sat in long lines across from each other.
This feasting style seating plan is great fun but please be aware that there is limited space along the centre of the long tables. You'll need to choose small, narrow table decorations that can fit neatly in between your place guests' place settings.
Please note: There is a £150 fee for a long table setup.
